More birds from Mollendo and Mejía from 28.12.08 to 02-01.09

Not always easy to find a place to rest for the birds along the beaches (north of the Sanctuary)

Hallo Tor Egil, I laughed when I saw all the gulls and terns on the beach - it looks like it is not ease for people eigter to find å place to rest on the beach!
I am impressed of the high numbers of birds. The last figure you updated me with was 50.000 Franklins Gull outside the Santuary area and we also heard that there could be 400.000 in total for the 50 km beach area in South Peru.
