Elegant TernI visited La Punta together with members of GAP (Grupo de Aves Peru) from Lima. It was an exiting experience, and I got several new contacts. I hope to stay in touch with you all!
La Punta is a good place for migrating shorbirds and gulls. Among the birds seen were Sanderling, Semipalmated Plover, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Western Sandpiper, Whimbrel, Franklin's Gull & Elegant Tern
